How to Configure DNS Configuration For WordPress

Do you know how to configure DNS for WordPress? If not, you should do so. Fortunately, it’s not as difficult as it sounds. The first step is to select your domain and then click the ‘Configure DNS’ button. Then, on the right-hand side, you’ll find a list of settings and options. DNS is a crucial part of your website’s functionality, and the right DNS configuration can make a huge difference to your site.

After selecting the right DNS configuration for WordPress, you’ll need to edit the A record to reflect your new IP address. Once propagation has finished, your site will appear under the new IP address. Once you’ve changed your IP address, you can access your new hosting account. You can view its stats by clicking on the ‘Settings’ link in your cPanel. Next, configure your WordPress website in the new hosting account. Make sure that the WordPress files are in the public_html folder.

Next, make sure you have created addon domains on your DNS provider’s servers. Your DNS host will add a subdirectory to your account corresponding to the addon domain. From there, you can install WordPress on that subdirectory. Once the DNS records have been created, the WordPress instance will be available to users. To use the DNS settings on your WP Engine hosting account, you should click Show all > Settings -> Domains.
